Daarom zoeken wij een ervaren Manager Warehouse die eindverantwoordelijkheid neemt voor de prestaties en verdere ontwikkeling van ons magazijn. In deze rol rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Operationeel Directeur en geef je leiding aan een team van 20 tot 25 medewerkers via één of meerdere ploegleiders en een magazijnplanner. De ploegleiders verzorgen de dagelijkse operationele aansturing op de werkvloer. Jij zorgt ervoor dat zij hun rol succesvol kunnen vervullen, ontwikkelt hun leiderschap en stuurt via hen op de prestaties van de afdeling. Daarmee gaat jouw verantwoordelijkheid verder dan ervoor zorgen dat de operatie vandaag goed draait. Je bouwt aan de logistieke organisatie van morgen. Je stuurt op basis van KPI's en analyses, maakt keuzes rondom capaciteit en personeelsinzet en initieert verbeteringen die leiden tot een veiligere, efficiëntere en beter voorspelbare operatie. Je bent zichtbaar in het warehouse en weet wat er speelt, maar houdt tegelijkertijd afstand genoeg om het geheel te overzien. Je schakelt gemakkelijk tussen operatie, tactiek en management en weet structurele verbeteringen te onderscheiden van de dagelijkse hectiek. Daarnaast ben je een leidinggevende die overzicht houdt wanneer de druk toeneemt. Je durft prioriteiten te stellen, besluiten te nemen en mensen aan te spreken, maar weet tegelijkertijd medewerkers en leidinggevenden mee te krijgen in veranderingen.
