Heb jij ervaring als Maritiem Officier, Scheepswerktuigkundige, Nautisch Officier of Superintendent? Dan is dit jouw kans om de overstap te maken naar een uitdagende en veelzijdige functie waarin je dagelijks een directe impact hebt op de veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid van de scheepvaart. Je komt terecht bij een internationaal opererend bedrijf dat zich richt op maritieme inspecties, schadeonderzoek en kwaliteitsborging. Als Marine Surveyor draag jij zorg voor objectieve en deskundige beoordelingen van schepen, ladingen en installaties. Je bent de onafhankelijke schakel tussen rederijen, verzekeringsmaatschappijen, overheden en classificatiebureaus. Omschrijving: In deze functie ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van surveys en inspecties aan schepen en lading. Je stelt rapportages op die van groot belang zijn voor juridische procedures, verzekeringskwesties of classificatie. Daarbij combineer je jouw technische kennis met analytisch inzicht en communicatieve vaardigheden. Je werkt zelfstandig, vaak internationaal en hebt veel vrijheid om je werk in te richten. Het werk is uitdagend en divers: de ene dag voer je een tonnagemeting uit of inspecteer je een machinekamer, de andere dag onderzoek je de oorzaak van een ongeval of treed je op als expert in een rechtszaak. Werkzaamheden: - Uitvoeren van surveys en inspecties aan schepen, lading en veiligheidsuitrusting. - Controleren of schepen voldoen aan internationale conventies en normen (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, class rules). - Onderzoeken van schadegevallen, opstellen van rapporten en berekenen van herstel- en vervangingskos...
