The posting

Voor een internationale organisatie actief binnen de maritieme sector zijn we op zoek naar een Accounting Officer (m/v/x).

In deze functie ligt de nadruk op het controleren, verwerken en correct toewijzen van inkomende facturen en operationele kosten. Daarnaast sta je mee in voor de financiële afrekening van verschillende dossiers.

Je komt terecht in een dynamische en internationale omgeving en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de GL Accountant.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je staat in voor de controle en verwerking van inkomende facturen en onkostennota's;
  • Je controleert facturen op juistheid en toetst deze af aan contractuele afspraken, tarieven en geleverde prestaties;
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte boekhoudkundige codering en analytische verwerking van kosten;
  • Je boekt en registreert verschillende operationele en dossiergebonden kosten;
  • Je wijst kosten en facturen toe aan de juiste dossiers en zorgt ervoor dat deze volledig en tijdig verwerkt worden;
  • Je stelt financiële afrekeningen op en controleert of alle kosten, voorschotten en facturen hierin correct zijn opgenomen;
  • Je voert controles en aansluitingen uit op prestatiebladen en contractprijzen;
  • Je neemt contact op met interne collega's en externe partners wanneer financiële gegevens of documenten ontbreken;
  • Je volgt voor een aantal klanten de openstaande debiteuren mee op;
  • Je bewaakt deadlines en draagt bij aan een correcte en betrouwbare financiële administratie.

Jouw profiel

  • Je beschikt over een opleiding Boekhouden/Accountancy of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen boekhouding, accounting of financiële administratie;
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt een sterk analytisch inzicht;
  • Je bent iemand die initiatief neemt en graag zelf op zoek gaat naar oplossingen;
  • Je bent communicatief, dynamisch en werkt graag samen met collega's;
  • Je kan goed omgaan met deadlines en behoudt het overzicht in een omgeving waar verschillende dossiers tegelijkertijd lopen;
  • Ervaring met Power Query en/of SharePoint is een plus;
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van het Frans is mooi meegenomen;
  • Ervaring binnen scheepvaart, logistiek of expeditie is een sterke troef, maar geen absolute vereiste.
