Voor een internationale speler in regio Ieper zoeken we een Material Planner die een sleutelrol opneemt binnen de supply chain. De organisatie telt wereldwijd ongeveer 48.000 medewerkers, is aanwezig in meer dan 170 landen en ondersteunt klanten binnen onder meer voeding, gezondheidszorg, life sciences, horeca en industrie.

De activiteiten richten zich onder andere op voedselveiligheid, veilige werkomgevingen en een efficiënter gebruik van water en energie. Achter deze internationale dienstverlening staat een uitgebreide supply chain waarin een betrouwbare materiaalbeschikbaarheid essentieel is.

Als Material Planner bewaak je die continuïteit. Je zorgt dat grondstoffen en componenten op het juiste moment beschikbaar zijn, zonder onnodig grote voorraden op te bouwen. Hierdoor krijg je een functie waarin planning, analyse, leverancierscontact en productie dagelijks samenkomen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De volledige materiaalplanning volg je nauwgezet op, zodat grondstoffen en componenten tijdig beschikbaar zijn voor de geplande productie
  • Voorraadniveaus en materiaalverbruik analyseer je voortdurend om tekorten, overtollige voorraad en onnodige kosten zoveel mogelijk te beperken
  • Samen met leveranciers en aankoop bewaak je levertermijnen, OTIF-prestaties en kwaliteitsproblemen, waarbij je mogelijke leveringsrisico's tijdig signaleert
  • Correcte stamgegevens rond onder meer doorlooptijden, veiligheidsvoorraden en minimale bestelhoeveelheden houd je zorgvuldig bij in het ERP-systeem
  • Als Material Planner sta je dicht bij productie en planning, communiceer je materiaaltekorten proactief en identificeer je mogelijkheden om processen en kosten verder te optimaliseren
  • Een bachelordiploma is een pluspunt voor deze functie als Material Planner
  • Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden zijn belangrijk om prioriteiten te bepalen, ook wanneer de druk binnen de supply chain toeneemt
  • Goede kennis van ERP-systemen zoals SAP of Oracle, MRP/ERP-planningsconcepten, Excel en data-analyse is noodzakelijk
  • Vlot communiceren in Nederlands, Engels en Frans combineer je met nauwkeurigheid, sterk stakeholdermanagement en een proactieve houding
