Via onze werving- en selectiedivisie start je onmiddellijk met een vast contract bij onze klanten.

Voor onze klant in Luik, die ervoor zorgt dat de voertuigen en systemen van de Belgische Defensie langdurig inzetbaar en operationeel blijven, zoeken wij een tweetalige (NL-FR) Mecanicien van militaire voertuigen. De komende 2 jaar zal je werkzaam zijn bij defensie in Leopoldsburg. Daarna werk je vanuit de gloednieuwe site in Rocourt.

Jobomschrijving

Als Mecanicien vertrek je de eerste 2 jaar elke ochtend vanuit Rocourt met het werkbusje naar Leopoldsburg (voertaal = Nederlands). 's Avonds keer je terug naar Rocourt en daarna naar huis. Deze uren op de baan tellen als gewerkte uren. Na 2 jaar zal de werkplaats in Rocourt helemaal vernieuwd zijn en werk je van daaruit (voertaal = Frans). Als Mechanieker ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud van militaire landvoertuigen:

- Preventief onderhoud

  • Periodieke controles
  • Olie- en vloeistofwissels
  • Controle van remmen, ophanging en sturing
  • Afstellingen en aanhaalmomenten volgens constructeur

- Correctief onderhoud

  • Diagnose van mechanische, hydraulische en motorstoringen
  • Herstelling/vervanging van componenten (koppeling, versnellingsbak, remmen, injectoren, alternator, starter…)

- Evolutief onderhoud

  • Retrofits en upgrades volgens technische bulletins
  • Testen en validaties

Daarnaast:

  • Lezen van technische plannen
  • Correct gebruik van diagnoseapparatuur (OBD/J1939)
  • Rapportering via ERP/CMMS
  • Strikte naleving van kwaliteits- en veiligheidsprocedures (HSE)

Je werkt in een mobiel team en stemt af met logistiek, planning en kwaliteitsexperts.

  • Minimaal A2 in automechanica, zware voertuigen of industriële mechanica
  • 1–3 jaar in voertuigonderhoud (auto, vrachtwagen, industrieel)
  • Sterke mechanische achtergrond (chassis/kast, aandrijflijn, motoren)
  • Basis hydraulica en elektriciteit (12/24V)
  • Diagnose (OBD/J1939)
  • Werken met momentsleutel en meetinstrumenten
  • Kennis van hijsen, PBM, LOTO
  • Orde, netheid en respect voor procedures in militaire omgeving
  • Zeer goed Nederlands en Frans
  • Rijbewijs B vereist (C/CE is een plus)
  • Autonoom en verantwoordelijk, nauwkeurig, teamplayer
  • Respect voor procedures en veiligheidsregels
