FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING

Ben jij een ervaren mecanicien die graag sleutelt aan zwaar rollend materieel? Werk je graag in een dynamische havenomgeving waar geen enkele dag hetzelfde is? Dan is deze functie als Mecanicien - Opstarter misschien wel iets voor jou.

Als mecanicien-opstarter ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud, de herstellingen en het operationeel klaarzetten van verschillende voertuigen en machines op de terminal. Dankzij jouw technische expertise blijft het materieel veilig en efficiënt inzetbaar.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Je voert onderhouds- en herstellingswerken uit aan onder andere trucks, bulldozers, trailers en kranen.
  • Je staat in voor het opstarten en operationeel klaarmaken van voertuigen en machines.
  • Je stelt diagnoses bij mechanische storingen en bepaalt de juiste herstellingsmethode.
  • Je analyseert technische defecten en voert de nodige reparaties uit.
  • Je koppelt vrachtwagens aan trailers en zorgt voor een correcte voorbereiding van het materiaal.
  • Je monteert en vervangt banden van tractoren, harvesters en andere machines.
  • Je voert diverse technische werkzaamheden uit om een vlotte werking van de terminal te garanderen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en ondersteunt waar nodig binnen de technische dienst.

PROFIEL

Voor deze functie zoeken we een hands-on technieker die van aanpakken weet en graag werkt aan uiteenlopende machines en voertuigen.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een sterke achtergrond in automechanica of zwaar rollend materieel.
  • Je kan zelfstandig diagnoses stellen bij mechanische problemen.
  • Kennis van elektronica is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je hebt ervaring met onderhoud en herstellingen aan trucks, kranen, bulldozers of vergelijkbaar materieel.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, maar bent tegelijk een echte teamspeler.
  • Buiten werken schrikt jou niet af.
  • Je bent bereid om in een ploegensysteem te werken.
  • Optioneel zaterdagwerk vormt voor jou geen probleem.
  • Je kan onder druk werken zonder in te boeten op kwaliteit.
  • Je levert nauwkeurig en verzorgd werk af.
  • Je hebt basiservaring met laswerken.
  • Een heftruckattest is een pluspunt.
