The posting

Als mecanicien vrachtwagens ben jij de spilfiguur voor het uitvoeren van preventief en curatief onderhoud aan een gevarieerd wagenpark. Je focust op mechanische interventies zoals remmen, banden, ophangingen en het keuring klaar maken van voertuigen. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opsporen en verhelpen van elektrische storingen met behulp van test- en diagnoseapparatuur.

Je start je dag met het analyseren van de werkplanning en het voorbereiden van de nodige onderdelen. Daarna ga je zelfstandig aan de slag met onderhoudsbeurten, kleine en grote herstellingen en het uitvoeren van controles. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega’s om de wagens in topconditie te houden en zorgt ervoor dat alles veilig en volgens de voorschriften gebeurt. Een extra troef is jouw kennis van hydraulische systemen of lastechnieken.

  • Je beschikt over een diploma lager, secundair, graduaat of (professionele/academische) bachelor, liefst in een technische richting
  • Je hebt minstens 1 jaar relevante ervaring als mecanicien, bij voorkeur in de vrachtwagensector
  • Je bent vertrouwd met onderhouds- en herstellingswerken aan voertuigen
  • Je hebt kennis van elektrische systemen en werkt vlot met diagnosemateriaal
  • Pluspunten: ervaring met hydrauliek, lassen (halfautomaat of TIG), rijbewijs C en/of CE
  • Je kan zelfstandig en nauwkeurig werken
