Onze klant is een machinebouwer van componenten tot complete machines en bijbehorende software. Met productielocaties en teams in de VS, Europa en Azië hebben ze een internationale reikwijdte.

Om hun engineering team in Gent uit te breiden, zoeken ze een ervaren Mechanical Design Engineer met volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je bent betrokken van concept tot productie inclusief het ontwerp en de engineering, prototyping, testen en verificatie, tooling, documentatie, QA/QC, …
  • Je levert de mechanische ontwerpen binnen de deadlines en interacteert met zowel leveranciers als interne en externe klanten in een wereldwijde omgeving.
  • Je bent sterk in het genereren van innovatieve concepten en het leveren van creatieve ideeën die de prestaties en efficiëntie van zowel nieuwe als bestaande producten verbeteren.
  • Je zult actief deelnemen aan brainstorms en het genereren van ideeën, waarbij je ideeën en concepten modelleert en demonstreert.

Je bent een master of bachelor in elektromechanica, mechanica of mechanisch ontwerp.Je hebt reeds een aantal jaar ervaring als mechanisch ontwerpingenieur bij een machinebouwbedrijf maar ook gedreven juniors komen in aanmerking.Je hebt bij voorkeur ook enige kennis en ervaring in technische domeinen zoals thermodynamica, stromingsleer, elektrotechniek, FEA, ...Je neemt verantwoordelijkheden en initiatief en zorgt dat dingen effectief gebeuren.Je bent gepassioneerd door technologie en enthousiast om te werken aan innovatieve, hightech oplossingen die de toekomst vormgeven.Je spreekt vloeiend Engels en bij voorkeur ook Nederlands.
