Als Mechanical Design Engineer in Brugge werk je mee aan het ontwerpen en verbeteren van mechanische systemen en machines die dagelijks gebruikt worden in diverse industriële toepassingen. Je krijgt de vrijheid om ideeën uit te werken, samen te werken met collega’s en oplossingen te creëren die het verschil maken. De functie inhoud Waar ga je mee aan de slag als Mechanical Design Engineer?

  • Uittekenen en modelleren van mechanische constructies en machineonderdelen in moderne CAD-software.
  • Evalueren van ontwerpkeuzes op vlak van sterkte, materiaalgebruik en kostenefficiëntie.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met productie, aankoop en R&D om ontwerpen optimaal te laten realiseren.
  • Begeleiden van prototypebouw en technische tests om functionaliteit te verfijnen.
  • Opstellen van technische documentatie, stuklijsten en montage-instructies.
  • Proactief meedenken over optimalisaties en nieuwe technische mogelijkheden binnen projecten.

  • Bachelor of master in mechanica / elektromechanica, of relevante praktijkervaring.
  • Ervaring met 3D-CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo …) is een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Combineert technisch inzicht met creatief probleemoplossend denken.
  • Teamspeler die vlot communiceert en graag schakelt tussen ontwerp en realisatie.
  • Gedreven door technologie en goesting om bij te leren.
