Wil jij meebouwen aan hoogtechnologische landbouwmachines en jouw ontwerpen zelf tot leven zien komen op het veld?

Voor een familiaal productiebedrijf in regio Waregem zijn we op zoek naar een gedreven mechanisch ontwerper. Deze onderneming heeft meer dan 80 jaar ervaring in de ontwikkeling en bouw van niche landbouwmachines en maakt deel uit van een sterke familiale bedrijvengroep. Van ontwerp tot constructie gebeurt alles in eigen beheer, waardoor je als Mechanical Design Engineer het volledige ontwikkelingsproces van dichtbij meemaakt.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als mechanisch ontwerpingenieur werk je technische oplossingen uit en ontwerp je onderdelen voor gespecialiseerde landbouwmachines
  • Je beoordeelt en verfijnt ontwerpwijzigingen zodat elke machine maximaal presteert
  • In samenwerking met monteurs begeleid je de assemblage van prototypes en neem je actief deel aan veldtesten
  • Tijdens het oogstseizoen volg je de machines in werking om verbeterpunten te signaleren en nieuwe ideeën verder te ontwikkelen
  • Tot slot neem je een leidende rol op binnen projecten en denk je mee over efficiënte technische oplossingen, van conceptfase tot realisatie
  • Je behaalde bij voorkeur een Masterdiploma Industrieel Ingenieur Elektromechanica of een gelijkaardige technische opleiding
  • Bovendien heb je een praktische ingesteldheid en werk je graag hands-on van ontwerp tot uitvoering
  • Daarnaast heb je een sterke interesse in landbouwmachines en ben je gebeten door techniek en productontwikkeling
  • Tot slot communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands
