Voor een sterk gespecialiseerd productiebedrijf actief binnen de bouwmaterialenindustrie, zijn we op zoek naar een Mechanical Design Engineer. Deze organisatie telt wereldwijd meer dan 20.000 medewerkers en is vertegenwoordigd in tal van landen. Hun innovatieve bouwoplossingen worden internationaal gewaardeerd.

In België beschikt het bedrijf over een netwerk van een 15-tal productielocaties. De vestiging in regio van Kortrijk, met zo'n 200 medewerkers, biedt een unieke mix van lokale betrokkenheid en de voordelen van een grote groep.

De onderneming is financieel zeer gezond en realiseerde het afgelopen jaar een omzet van ongeveer €400 miljoen. Ter uitbreiding van het team zoeken ze een Mechanical Designer die zich over hun interne productie wil ontfermen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Mechanical Design Engineer werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van matrijzen en machineonderdelen in nauwe afstemming met productie, leveranciers en collega’s uit het vormgevingsteam
  • Daarnaast ga je actief aan de slag met het optimaliseren van de machines en de productie van bouwmaterialen binnen een grootschalige productieomgeving
  • Je meet machineonderdelen op, past ze aan waar nodig en vertaalt nieuwe ideeën naar uitgewerkte ontwerpen voor eenvoudige machines
  • Volg technische projecten nauwgezet op en stuur tijdig bij om binnen de geplande deadlines een optimaal resultaat te realiseren
  • Dankzij jouw nauwkeurige tekenwerk in 2D en 3D beschikken productieafdelingen altijd over de meest recente technische documentatie
  • Je bent in het bezit van een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in een technische richting, bij voorkeur in de Mechanica
  • Zowel schoolverlaters als mensen met een eerste ervaring komen in aanmerking voor deze rol
  • Goede kennis Nederlands en Frans is een must, Engels is mooi meegenomen
