Je komt terecht bij een internationale hightech machinebouwer in regio Deinze die geavanceerde machines, componenten en softwareoplossingen ontwikkelt voor industriële coatingprocessen.

De technologie wordt wereldwijd toegepast voor onder andere energie-efficiënt glas, displays, zonnepanelen, batterijen en andere innovatieve industriële toepassingen. Het bedrijf combineert eigen engineering, R&D en productie en realiseert complete technologische installaties voor internationale klanten.

Jobomschrijving

Als Mechanical Design Engineer met ervaring ben je betrokken bij het volledige ontwikkelingsproces van nieuwe en bestaande machines en producten. Je kijkt naar het grotere geheel en volgt jouw ontwerpen verder op dan enkel de concept- en tekenfase.

Concreet zal je als Mechanical Design Engineer met ervaring:

  • Nieuwe machines, onderdelen en technische oplossingen conceptueel en mechanisch ontwerpen.
  • Betrokken zijn bij het volledige traject van concept tot productie.
  • Instaan voor engineering, prototyping, testing en verificatie van jouw ontwerpen.
  • Technische oplossingen uitwerken met aandacht voor maakbaarheid en productie.
  • Meewerken aan de ontwikkeling van tooling die nodig is voor de productie.
  • De nodige technische documentatie opstellen en onderhouden.
  • Rekening houden met kwaliteitsvereisten, QA/QC, productmarges, kosten en vooropgestelde deadlines.
  • Ownership nemen over jouw ontwerpen en deze doorheen het volledige ontwikkelingsproces opvolgen.
  • Technische afstemming verzorgen met leveranciers en interne en externe stakeholders binnen een internationale omgeving.
  • Innovatieve concepten ontwikkelen waarmee de prestaties en efficiëntie van nieuwe en bestaande producten verder worden verbeterd.
  • Actief deelnemen aan brainstormsessies en technische conceptontwikkeling.
  • Ideeën en concepten modelleren, technisch onderbouwen en demonstreren.
  • Vanuit verschillende engineeringdisciplines naar technische uitdagingen kijken en oplossingen uitwerken.

Voor deze functie van Mechanical Design Engineer met ervaring zoeken we een ervaren mechanical engineer met een brede technische bagage. Je bent niet alleen sterk in mechanisch ontwerp, maar begrijpt ook hoe verschillende engineeringdisciplines elkaar beïnvloeden binnen complexe machinebouw.

Als Mechanical Design Engineer met ervaring herken je jezelf in volgende zaken:

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma Elektromechanica, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design of een vergelijkbare technische opleiding.
  • Je hebt minimaal 10 jaar relevante ervaring als Mechanical Design Engineer binnen een machinebouwomgeving.
  • Je beschikt over een zeer sterke kennis van mechanisch ontwerp en engineering.
  • Je hebt kennis van en ervaring met verschillende technische domeinen, zoals thermodynamica, stromingsleer, elektriciteit en FEA.
  • Je kunt technische concepten zelfstandig uitwerken en verder ontwikkelen tot realiseerbare oplossingen.
  • Je bent creatief en sterk in het bedenken van nieuwe technische concepten.
  • Je hebt oog voor zowel technische prestaties als efficiëntie en maakbaarheid.
  • Je kunt dynamisch en zelfstandig werken.
  • Je neemt ownership over jouw verantwoordelijkheden en projecten.
  • Je neemt initiatief en wacht niet af om technische uitdagingen aan te pakken.
  • Je hebt een uitgesproken passie voor technologie, innovatie en hightech machinebouw.
  • Je werkt graag samen met collega's uit verschillende technische disciplines.
  • Je spreekt vlot Engels vanwege de internationale werkomgeving.
