Voor een familiale en internationaal actieve onderneming in de regio Oostkamp zijn we op zoek naar een Mechanical Design & Project Engineer. De organisatie specialiseert zich in het ontwerpen en industrialiseren van machines en mechanische oplossingen en ontwikkelt haar technologie volledig in eigen huis. Binnen de organisatie staat innovatie centraal. Een gespecialiseerd R&D-team werkt voortdurend aan nieuwe automatisatie- en digitalisatieoplossingen om de bestaande technologie verder te verbeteren en de positie als marktleider te versterken.

Jobomschrijving

In deze functie werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van hoogtechnologische machines en productielijnen, van het eerste concept tot de uiteindelijke realisatie. Je staat mee in voor het ontwerpen en optimaliseren van mechanische oplossingen en denkt actief na over hoe deze technisch en praktisch gerealiseerd kunnen worden. Je bekijkt nieuwe concepten vanuit een analytische invalshoek en beoordeelt hun technische haalbaarheid. Tegelijkertijd werk je nauw samen met verschillende disciplines binnen de organisatie. Je schakelt vlot met mechanical engineers, software engineers en productie om ervoor te zorgen dat ontwerpen ook effectief uitgroeien tot kwalitatieve eindproducten.

  • Je behaalde een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in een technische richting of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt een uitgesproken interesse in mechanica of elektromechanica
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en beschikt over een goed technisch inzicht
  • Je bent communicatief en functioneert graag binnen een multidisciplinair team
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels
