Voor een internationale speler in de regio van Roeselare gaan wij op zoek naar een Mechanical Designer. Deze organisatie is actief in meer dan tien landen en telt wereldwijd duizenden werknemers. Ze focussen zich op het ontwerpen en produceren van hoogwaardige profielen in verschillende stoffen. Wat hen typeert? Een sterke langetermijnvisie met aandacht voor circulaire productie en geavanceerde technologie. Dankzij hun intern recyclagesysteem zetten ze grote stappen richting een kleinere ecologische voetafdruk. Daarnaast investeren ze continu in automatisering, robotica en softwaregestuurde optimalisaties, zodat hun productie steeds een stap vooruit blijft.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Mechanical Designer verdiep je je in installatiemethodes en toepassingen door actief samen te werken met ontwerpers, productteams en field technicians in Europa
  • Technische informatie vertaal je naar duidelijke handleidingen, schema’s en visuele weergaven via CAD en grafische software
  • Je zorgt voor technische ondersteuning aan zowel klanten als interne teams met onderbouwde tekeningen, berekeningen en analyses
  • Het beheren van datasets en programmeren van nieuwe profielen neem je op binnen het Product Software Team
  • Digitale trends in technische documentatie volg je op en vertaal je naar verbeteringen in kennisdeling en interne processen
  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma Elektromechanica of gelijkaardig, of je hebt voldoende ervaring opgebouwd om dit te compenseren
  • Daarnaast heb je ook de nodige ervaring en kennis van tekenprogramma's zoals Siemens NX
  • Ook als schoolverlater ben je welkom, al vormt een eerste ervaring binnen een technische context een mooi extraatje
  • Je drukt je vlot uit in het Engels en extra talenkennis zoals Nederlands, Frans of Duits wordt sterk gewaardeerd
