Als Mechanical Engineer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het engineeren en realiseren van complexe mechanische systemen binnen unieke maritieme projecten. Je werkt aan uitdagende technische vraagstukken waarbij geen enkel project hetzelfde is. Van het ontwerpen van innovatieve oplossingen tot het begeleiden van de realisatie – jij zorgt ervoor dat elk mechanisch systeem perfect functioneert en voldoet aan de hoogste kwaliteitseisen. Je werkt nauw samen met multidisciplinaire teams, waaronder constructeurs, elektrotechnici en projectleiders. Jouw technische kennis en probleemoplossend vermogen zijn essentieel om de meest ambitieuze maritieme projecten tot een succes te maken. Daarnaast krijg je de kans om je verder te ontwikkelen tot Senior Mechanical Engineer of Lead Engineer, waarbij je meer verantwoordelijkheid krijgt over complexere projecten en het aansturen van junior engineers. Jouw taken omvatten: - Ontwerpen en engineeren van mechanische systemen en installaties voor maritieme projecten; - Uitvoeren van berekeningen, analyses en technische specificaties; - Samenwerken met verschillende disciplines om integrale oplossingen te realiseren; - Bewaken van kwaliteit, planning en budget binnen jouw vakgebied; - Begeleiden van de realisatie en testen van mechanische systemen; - Adviseren over technische verbeteringen en innovaties; - Onderhouden van contact met leveranciers en externe partijen.
