De functie inhoud De Mechanical Engineer is de drijvende kracht achter volgende taken:

  • Zorgen dat de vooropgestelde planning gerealiseerd kan worden.
  • De projectleiders ondersteunen bij de prijsberekening.
  • Mechanische concepten ontwikkelen.
  • Samen met de automatisatie en software afdeling een totaalbeeld vormen van hoe de machines zullen werken.
  • Rekening houden met de opmerkingen van productie om machines zo optimaal mogelijk te implementeren.

Onze klant Deze klant uit Brugge maakt testopstellingen voor de automobielindustrie waarvan de ontwikkeling volledig intern gebeurt. Ze zijn de enige in België en zijn wereldspeler in wat ze doen. Het is een groot en hoogtechnologisch bedrijf met 140 werknemers en een familiale sfeer waarbij zelf de CEO met zijn voornaam wordt aangesproken. Er wordt veel belang gehecht aan die goede sfeer en daarom organiseren ze af toe activiteiten. Er zijn verschillende toekomstplannen, ze gaan bijvoorbeeld focussen op hernieuwbare energie en het uitbreiden van de bureaus. Een grote troef is dat ze openstaan voor nieuwe initiatieven en dat er doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn. De geschikte Mechanical Engineer heeft onderstaand profiel:

  • In het bezit van een diploma industrieel ingenieur of gelijkaardig door ervaring.
  • Grondige kennis van mechanica, machinebouw en CAD software.
  • Je beschikt over sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden en je weet hoe je een team kan motiveren.
  • Je spreekt Nederlands en een woordje Engels en/of Frans.
