Vacancy: Mechanical Engineer (5-10 years of experience) Who are you? You are looking for more than just technology. As a Mechanical Engineering (WTB) Engineer at Novateq Engineering, you love challenges and find enjoyment in your work important. You are willing to take that extra step and work hard to achieve your goal of delivering top performance in technical solutions. What will you do? As an Engineer WTB, you will be responsible for: - Design and development of steel structures, piping, mechanisms, drives and conveyor systems according to customer specifications; - Preparing (detail) drawings, parts lists and the corresponding material specifications and tolerances, making calculations, as well as checking them; - Producing layouts for the purpose of sales support; - Consult with clients regarding project specifications and/or changes. What do you bring? You have a college degree in mechanical engineering and 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in heavy engineering and/or product development. Further: - Have good knowledge of 3D software packages (especially Solid Works and Inventor); - Are you able to solve mechanical (partial) issues creatively independently, keeping in mind functionality, reliability, safety, maintainability and the cost aspect; - Are a results-oriented team player, take initiative and responsibility.
