Deze organisatie ontwikkelt professionele open architectuur rijsimulatoren voor klanten in de automotive, motorsport en maritieme sector. De organisatie levert real-time simulatoren en modulaire componenten zoals hardware, software, voertuigmodellen, content en projectiesystemen. De werkzaamheden omvatten het specificeren en ontwerpen van mechanische onderdelen en subsystemen, de integratie van mechatronica en de begeleiding van assemblage en kwaliteitscontrole. Projecten variëren van het integreren van simulatieonderdelen in een standaard tub tot het volledige ontwerp van een nieuwe 6-DOF simulator inclusief toegang- en veiligheidssystemen. Het ontwerpteam werkt nauw samen met projectmanagers, werkplaatsmedewerkers en leveranciers om eisen, ontwerpwensen en uitvoerbaarheid op elkaar af te stemmen. De organisatie zoekt kandidaten die praktisch ingesteld zijn en bereid om zelf onderzoek te doen naar de werking van subsystemen en die flexibel zijn in werktijden en inzet. Kandidaten zullen veelal in Amsterdam werken en deelnemen aan projectteams die van concept tot assemblage verantwoordelijkheden dragen.

- Je ontwerpt mechanische onderdelen en subsystemen voor simulatoren, inclusief 6-DOF systemen

- Als Mechanisch Ontwerper integreer je mechatronica en stem je ontwerpen af met het projectteam

- Je maakt technische constructietekeningen en CAD-modellen

- Je begeleidt productie en assemblage en voert kwaliteitscontroles uit

- Je rapporteert voortgang en levert input voor design reviews

Functie-eisen: - B.Sc. in Werktuigbouwkunde of gelijkwaardige opleiding

- Ervaring met CAD, bij voorkeur Solid Works
