Jij bedenkt slimme technische oplossingen die straks op de weg rijden. Als Mechanical Engineer Automotive ontwerp en ontwikkel je innovatieve interieurconcepten voor bedrijfswagens. Je werkt aan complete producten, van het eerste idee tot een productieklare oplossing. Wat ga je doen?Als Mechanical Engineer Automotive werk je voor onze opdrachtgever aan de ontwikkeling van innovatieve producten voor de automotive sector. Je vertaalt ideeën en klantspecificaties naar slimme en maakbare constructies die voldoen aan hoge kwaliteitseisen. Met behulp van 3D CAD-software ontwerp, modelleer en optimaliseer je onderdelen en complete systemen. Je voert technische berekeningen uit, beoordeelt constructies en houdt rekening met materiaaleigenschappen, toleranties en productiemethoden. Tijdens het ontwikkelproces stem je technische keuzes af met leveranciers en verschillende disciplines binnen de organisatie. Daarnaast beoordeel je offertes, bewaak je de technische haalbaarheid van ontwerpen en denk je mee over planning en kosten. Je signaleert verbeterkansen en draagt actief bij aan productinnovaties. Dankzij jouw technische inzicht ontstaan betrouwbare, veilige en efficiënte oplossingen die wereldwijd worden toegepast in bedrijfswagens. Jouw werkzaamheden - Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van innovatieve automotive producten in een 3D CAD-programma; - Uitwerken van concepten tot productieklare constructies; - Uitvoeren van technische berekeningen, analyses en ontwerpoptimalisaties; - Afstemmen van technische specificaties met leveranciers en interne stakeholders; - Opstellen en beheren van technische documentatie en stuklijsten; - Beoordelen van offertes en bewaken van planning, kwaliteit en technische haalbaarheid; - Initiëren van productverbeteringen en ondersteunen bij innovatieprojecten. Wat heb jij in huis? - Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding werktuigbouwkunde, automotive engineering of een vergelijkbare technische richting; - Ervaring als mechanical engineer of productontwikkelaar.
