The posting

Enovates ontwikkelt en produceert in Europa slimme AC-laadinfrastructuur voor elektrische voertuigen. We bouwen sinds 2010 aan laadsystemen en beheersoftware, met ruim 300.000 geplaatste laadpunten. Vanuit Lokeren bedienen we onze thuismarkten België, Nederland, Luxemburg en Frankrijk, en werken we aan de volgende generatie AC-laadpalen.

Als Mechanical Engineer ontwerp je mechanische concepten en vertaal je die naar productie- en certificeringsklare oplossingen. Je neemt het volledige eigenaarschap van de mechanische ontwikkeling, van concept tot industrialisatie, en ondersteunt veldproblemen met gestructureerde root-cause analyses. Je werkt on-site in Lokeren, in nauwe samenwerking met elektronica, software en industrieel ontwerp.

Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Mechanische onderdelen en assemblages voor EV-laadsystemen ontwerpen en ontwikkelen, rekening houdend met functie, omgeving, duurzaamheid en maakbaarheid.
  • Parametrische 3D-modellen en 2D-technische tekeningen opstellen (Solid Edge of vergelijkbare CAD-software).
  • Materialen en productietechnologieën selecteren (spuitgieten, plaatwerk, extrusie) met oog voor kosten en kwaliteit.
  • Simulaties uitvoeren en interpreteren (sterkte, thermisch, trillingen waar relevant) en de resultaten vertalen naar ontwerpverbeteringen.
  • Prototyping begeleiden: leveranciers opvolgen, onderdelen beoordelen, builds ondersteunen en snel itereren.
  • Certificeringsgereedheid ondersteunen (IP en IK, CE-gerelateerde mechanische vereisten) via testvoorbereiding en ontwerpaanpassingen.
  • Veldproblemen analyseren, corrigerende acties implementeren en herhaling voorkomen met gestructureerde documentatie.
  • Bijdragen aan DFM en kostoptimalisatie tijdens ramp-up en seriële productie.
  • Deelnemen aan design reviews met cross-functionele teams (elektronica, software, industrieel ontwerp).

Wat we van je verwachten:

  • Bachelor of master in een mechanische of elektromechanische richting, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring als Mechanical Engineer in productontwikkeling of industrialisatie.
  • Sterke ervaring met parametrische CAD (Solid Edge sterk aanbevolen, gelijkwaardige tools zijn ook relevant).
  • Gedegen kennis van productieprocessen en DFM-principes.
  • Hands-on mentaliteit: comfortabel met prototypes, testen, leveranciersopvolging en engineering trade-offs.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een proactieve, gestructureerde manier van werken.

Extra pluspunten:

  • Ervaring met EV-laadproducten (IP-sealing, koelingsconcepten, vandalismebestendigheid, buitenduurzaamheid).
  • Bekend met mechanische compliance onderwerpen (IP- en IK-testen, documentatie voor certificeringstrajecten).
  • Kennis van of ervaring met PPAP- en APQP-processen.
