Een uitdagende functie waarin techniek, innovatie en persoonlijke ontwikkeling centraal staan. Wat ga je doen? Als Mechanical Engineer Machinebouw werk je aan machines en complete productielijnen voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie. Je vertaalt technische wensen naar praktische en maakbare oplossingen die uiteindelijk bij klanten over de hele wereld worden ingezet. Met 3D CAD ontwerp je machines, onderdelen en constructies en werk je deze uit van eerste concept tot productierijp ontwerp. Je maakt technische berekeningen en stuklijsten en houdt rekening met veiligheid, functionaliteit, kwaliteit en maakbaarheid. Tijdens projecten werk je nauw samen met projectmanagement, productie en inkoop. Je bespreekt technische vraagstukken, verwerkt wijzigingen en zorgt ervoor dat jouw ontwerpen goed aansluiten op de productie en assemblage. Daarnaast werk je aan het verbeteren van bestaande machines en installaties. Zo ben je betrokken bij het volledige engineeringproces en zie je jouw ontwerpen uiteindelijk terug als werkende machines en productielijnen in de praktijk.
