Een praktische engineeringrol voor iemand die machinebouw graag combineert met zicht op de uitvoering. Wat ga je doen? Als Mechanical Engineer Machinebouw werk je aan geautomatiseerde oplossingen voor material handling. Je ontwerpt klant specifieke systemen waarin mechanica, beweging, veiligheid en maakbaarheid samenkomen. Denk aan transportsystemen, sorteeroplossingen en technische modules die worden gebruikt binnen logistieke en industriële omgevingen. Verder besteed je ongeveer 40% van je tijd aan R&D in de vorm van het ontwerpen van klant specifieke Je werkt aan nieuwe klantprojecten, maar denkt ook mee over verbeteringen aan bestaande systemen. Vanuit een vraagstuk vertaal je technische eisen naar een 3D ontwerp in Inventor. Daarbij houd je rekening met constructie, CE-richtlijnen, risico's, montage, onderhoud en de ruimte waarin het systeem geplaatst wordt. In de Mechanical Engineer Machinebouw rol zit je dicht op de praktijk. Je bent aanspreekpunt voor monteurs en customer service wanneer er technische vragen ontstaan. Ook kun je betrokken worden bij prototypes, installaties of ondersteuning op locatie. Daardoor zie je niet alleen wat je ontwerpt, maar ook hoe jouw keuzes in de praktijk werken.
