Wil jij werken aan machines die je van A tot Z leert kennen? In deze rol combineer je mechanisch inzicht met technische analyse en werk je dagelijks aan uiteenlopende industriële installaties.

In regio Gent kom je terecht bij een familiaal bedrijf gespecialiseerd in de revisie en doorverkoop van industriële productiemachines. Machines komen binnen vanuit heel Europa, worden technisch volledig nagekeken en opnieuw klaargemaakt voor gebruik. Die variatie maakt dat geen enkele dag (of machine!) hetzelfde is.

Binnen deze omgeving zoeken ze een Mechanical Engineer die zich wil verdiepen in verschillende types installaties en actief wil meewerken aan het technisch opnieuw op punt stellen ervan.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als mechanisch ingenieur analyseer je binnenkomende machines en breng je de technische staat in kaart
  • Vanuit je mechanisch inzicht voer je herstellingen en revisies uit aan diverse installaties
  • Onderdelen zoals cilinders, messen en mechanische componenten neem je onder handen en breng je opnieuw in optimale staat
  • Daarnaast ondersteun je bij technische problemen en werk je samen met collega’s om oplossingen uit te werken
  • Je krijgt de kans om je kennis uit te breiden over verschillende machines en technieken binnen de metaalindustrie
  • Je hebt een bachelor in (elektro)mechanica of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Daarnaast heb je een eerste ervaring in een technische of onderhoudsgerichte functie
  • Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit en werkt graag zowel zelfstandig als in team
