Voor een West-Vlaamse KMO in regio Kortrijk zoeken wij een Mechanical Engineer Groeitraject Atelierverantwoordelijke. Deze machinebouwer staat in de streek bekend voor zijn technische expertise en klantgerichte maatwerkoplossingen, specifiek voor bedrijven in de voedingsindustrie. Onder hun klanten vind je namen zoals Agristo, Greenyard, IFF en Westvlees. Wat deze onderneming uniek maakt, is dat zowel de mechanische ontwikkeling als de automatisering volledig intern gebeurt. De firma telt een honderdtal medewerkers en bedient klanten in West- en Oost-Vlaanderen, Henegouwen en Noord-Frankrijk.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je start met een leertraject waarbij je geleidelijk alle verantwoordelijkheden onder de knie krijgt
  • Daarnaast werk je mee aan mechanisch ontwerp, sterkteberekeningen en programmatie van machines
  • Verder stel je prijscalculaties op en coördineer je de laswerken
  • Ook hands-on werk zoals lassen, draaien en frezen kan tot je takenpakket behoren, naast de aansturing van interne medewerkers en externe onderaannemers
  • Tot slot beheer je de voorraad, volg je projecten op en fungeer je als contactpersoon voor bepaalde klanten
  • Je behaalde minstens een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in elektromechanica of een vergelijkbare technische richting
  • Bovendien is deze rol ideaal voor zowel pas afgestudeerden als ervaren profielen: technisch inzicht en motivatie zijn belangrijker dan werkervaring
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, en kan ook een woordje Engels en Frans
  • Je bent gemotiveerd en wenst zowel hands-on als van op de bureau te werken; tekenen, lassen, draaien, frezen je kan en wil het allemaal doen
