Wil jij jouw technische kennis inzetten voor machines waarbij iedere micrometer telt? Als Mechanical Engineer Semiconductor werk je aan nauwkeurige mechanische oplossingen voor geavanceerde chipproductie. Je krijgt de kans om complexe techniek te ontdekken, ontwerpen te verbeteren en jezelf snel te ontwikkelen binnen hightech engineering. Wat ga je doen? Als Mechanical Engineer Semiconductor werk je voor onze opdrachtgever in Nijmegen aan mechanische modules en systemen voor de semiconductorindustrie. Je vertaalt technische eisen naar slimme mechanische concepten en werkt deze verder uit in 3D CAD, voornamelijk met Siemens NX. Daarbij houd je rekening met nauwkeurigheid, massa, kosten, maakbaarheid en mechanische stabiliteit. Je gebruikt analyses en FEM-resultaten om te begrijpen hoe een ontwerp reageert op krachten, trillingen en temperatuurverschillen. Ervaren engineers helpen je om steeds zelfstandiger technische keuzes te maken. Je werkt aan een groot redesignproject en verschillende projecten voor productverbetering en vernieuwing. Daarbij krijg je te maken met disciplines zoals mechatronica, elektronica, optica en manufacturing engineering. Je onderzoekt technische problemen, bespreekt mogelijke oplossingen en verwerkt verbeteringen in het ontwerp. Zo ontwikkel je brede kennis van precision engineering, mechanical design en hightech machinebouw. Incidenteel kan internationaal reizen onderdeel zijn van je werkzaamheden. Jouw werkzaamheden - Ontwerpen en uitwerken van high-precision mechanische modules en onderdelen; - Vertalen van systeemeisen naar mechanische concepten en 3D CAD-ontwerpen; - Werken met Siemens NX voor het modelleren en verbeteren van constructies; - Interpreteren van FEM-analyses op het gebied van sterkte, thermisch gedrag, trillingen en dynamica; - Optimaliseren van ontwerpen op nauwkeurigheid, massa, kosten en maakbaarheid; - Onderzoeken en oplossen van mechanische vraagstukken binnen hightech systemen; - Afstemmen van technische oplossin.
