Voor een gerenommeerde speler in de machinebouw zoeken we versterking voor het R&D-team. Vanuit hun hoofdkantoor in de ruime regio Kortrijk, werken meer dan 200 medewerkers aan machines die wereldwijd ingezet worden. Een mensgerichte, familiale sfeer gecombineerd met internationale ambities en technische vakkennis zorgt ervoor dat hun producten blijven evolueren.

Als Mechanical R&D Engineer krijg je een belangrijke rol in de verdere ontwikkeling van het productgamma, waarbij je vlot schakelt tussen engineering, testing en praktijk.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je werkt technische verbeteringen uit aan bestaande producten en vertaalt die naar slimme, haalbare ontwerpen
  • Het ontwerptraject volg je van dichtbij op, van eerste prototype tot testing bij de klant
  • In de productie ondersteun je monteurs actief bij de opbouw en finetuning van prototypes
  • Bij technische problemen in productie of na verkoop denk je oplossingsgericht mee met andere teams
  • Ook denk je proactief na over nieuwe machines, neem je initiatief en breng je verbeteringen aan
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma elektromechanica
  • Minstens enkele jaren ervaring in de machinebouw is vereist om deze functie zelfstandig op te nemen
  • Je bent vertrouwd met een 3D CAD-pakket (zoals Creo Parametric)
