In een productieomgeving draait alles om betrouwbaarheid. Machines moeten presteren, processen moeten blijven lopen en stilstanden zijn geen optie. Achter die continuïteit staat een team van techniekers dat ervoor zorgt dat installaties dag na dag in topconditie blijven.

Voor een internationale chemische speler met een sterke verankering in de regio Gent zijn we op zoek naar een Mecanicien die energie haalt uit techniek, probleemoplossing en het onderhouden van een modern machinepark. Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar veiligheid, kwaliteit en samenwerking centraal staan en waar technische expertise écht gewaardeerd wordt.

Als mechanieker ben je veel meer dan iemand die storingen oplost. Je bent een belangrijke schakel in het productieproces. Dankzij jouw inzicht en vakkennis spoor je slijtage tijdig op, voer je onderhoudswerken uit en denk je mee na over verbeteringen aan installaties. Zo help je mee om de productie veilig, efficiënt en zonder onderbrekingen te laten verlopen.

Daar staat een stabiele werkomgeving tegenover, met ruimte voor initiatief, technische uitdaging en verdere groei binnen een sterk team van collega's die dezelfde passie voor techniek delen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Verantwoordelijkheid voor gepland en curatief mechanisch onderhoud aan installaties, pompen en andere kritische onderdelen van het machinepark
  • Uitvoeren van revisies, vervangingen en mechanische verbeteringen aan piping, constructies en installaties met oog voor veiligheid en kwaliteit
  • Constructiewerken en lasopdrachten in de werkplaats, gecombineerd met het uitwerken van technische oplossingen op de werkvloer
  • Nauwe samenwerking met productie- en technische collega's om installaties veilig en optimaal operationeel te houden
  • Snel en doeltreffend optreden bij storingen en interventies om productieonderbrekingen tot een minimum te beperken
  • Technische opleiding in mechanica of relevante ervaring binnen industrieel onderhoud
  • Praktische kennis van mechanische herstellingen, revisies en basis laswerken
  • Bereidheid om attesten zoals heftruck, rolbrug of hoogtewerker te behalen, of reeds in het bezit van één of meerdere certificaten
