The posting

Als Mechanieker zorg jij ervoor dat machines en voertuigen betrouwbaar blijven werken. Je werkt aan een gevarieerd machinepark met onder andere kranen, bulldozers, vrachtwagens en kleiner werfmaterieel. Van preventief onderhoud tot het opsporen van een storing: jij zorgt ervoor dat problemen grondig worden aangepakt en machines opnieuw veilig ingezet kunnen worden. Je komt terecht in een stabiele werkomgeving waar techniek en vakkennis belangrijk zijn. Je krijgt de vrijheid om zelfstandig te werken, maar kunt rekenen op collega’s wanneer je even wilt overleggen of samen een technisch probleem wilt aanpakken.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je staat in voor het onderhoud en de herstellingen van groot en klein materieel en je werkt aan kranen, bulldozers, vrachtwagens, trilplaten, stampers en ander werfmaterieel
  • Je spoort technische storingen op en zoekt naar een praktische oplossing en je voert preventief onderhoud uit om defecten en onnodige stilstanden te voorkomen
  • Je controleert na onderhoud of herstellingen of machines veilig en correct functioneren en je denkt mee wanneer zich technische problemen voordoen en zoekt naar oplossingen die ook op lange termijn werken
  • Wanneer nodig ga je ter plaatse om een panne of storing op te lossen

Waar ga je werken? Je gaat aan de slag bij een stabiel aannemersbedrijf dat actief is binnen verschillende projecten in bouw en infrastructuur. Op de werven wordt dagelijks gewerkt met een uitgebreid machinepark. Een goede mecanicien is dan ook een belangrijke schakel: dankzij jouw werk blijven machines betrouwbaar functioneren en kunnen collega’s hun werk veilig en vlot uitvoeren. De sfeer binnen het bedrijf is nuchter en direct. Je weet wat er van je verwacht wordt, collega’s springen bij wanneer dat nodig is en technische kennis wordt vooral op de werkvloer gedeeld. Er is ruimte om zelfstandig te werken, maar je staat er nooit alleen voor.

  • Je hebt een opleiding mechanica gevolgd of beschikt over gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring en je hebt ervaring met het onderhouden en herstellen van machines, voertuigen of ander technisch materieel
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en vindt het leuk om uit te zoeken waar een probleem vandaan komt en je gaat zorgvuldig om met machines, materiaal en gereedschap
  • Je bent bereid om indien nodig een technische interventie op verplaatsing uit te voeren en ervaring met bouwmachines, hydraulica of zwaar materieel is mooi meegenomen
