Ben jij een ervaren mechanieker met een passie voor zware voertuigen zoals vrachtwagens en heftrucks? Dan is deze job iets voor jou! Bij Verhelst Technics & Facility zoeken we een polyvalente technieker om ons team te versterken.

Ons assortiment aan voertuigen is zeer divers en omvat verschillende soorten trailers, vrachtwagens, trekkers, heftrucks, wielladers etc. Als polyvalente mechanieker/technieker ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden en herstellen van ons rollend materieel.

  • Je voert technische diagnoses uit om zo een duidelijk beeld te krijgen van de staat van het voertuig.
  • Je voert periodiek onderhoud uit op vrachtwagens en heftrucks.
  • Je detecteert en rapporteert defecten of slijtage aan de verantwoordelijke.
  • Je controleert mechanische en elektronische componenten grondig.
  • Je demonteert, monteert, vervangt en herstelt onderdelen.
  • Je leest storingen uit en gebruikt test- en diagnoseapparatuur om problemen te detecteren.
  • Je voert ook interventies uit op verplaatsing, in onze verschillende depots doorheen West-Vlaanderen.
  • Je staat in contact met de chauffeurs en de medewerkers op onze depots.
  • Je hebt je eerste werkervaring achter de rug in het mechanisch onderhoud en herstellingen van vrachtwagens of heftrucks, en beschikt over een sterke kennis van mechanica, aangevuld met een basis in hydraulica en elektronica.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met het gebruik van test- en diagnoseapparatuur en weet technische problemen efficiënt aan te pakken.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en met oog voor veiligheid, zowel zelfstandig als in team.
  • Je bent stipt, gedreven, flexibel en weet ook onder druk het hoofd koel te houden en het overzicht te bewaren.
  • Je denkt proactief mee, stelt verbeteringen voor en neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid op.
  • Je beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs B, rijbewijs C is een pluspunt
  • Je bent iemand met een uitgesproken hands-on mentaliteit.
