Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?

Als mechanieker speel je een cruciale rol in het treinverkeer en zorg je mee voor treinen in topconditie. Jij garandeert dat defecten aan treinen hersteld worden en dat onze klanten kunnen rekenen op goedwerkende en veilige treinen. Zo draag je bij aan een veilige, stipte en kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS?

  • Je voert visuele controles uit op het treinmaterieel.
  • Je monteert, demonteert en controleert mechanische installaties en onderdelen. Je werkt daarbij op, in, onder en naast de trein.
  • Je onderhoudt en herstelt treinen, zowel elektrisch als dieselmaterieel. Je maakt daarbij gebruik van verschillende technieken.
  • Je bouwt expertise op over het treinmaterieel.

Waarom is deze job iets voor jou?

  • Je hebt een getuigschrift technisch secundair onderwijs (na 6 jaar), beroepssecundair onderwijs (na 7 jaar) (OK4) in het studiegebied mechanica – elektriciteit – elektronica of een gelijkwaardigheidsattest.
  • Of je hebt relevante ervaring (min. 2 jaar).
  • Je hebt kennis van mechanica en pneumatica en je kan planlezen. Je bent klantgericht.
  • Je bent een teamspeler, die ook zelfstandig kan werken.
  • Je bent handig en werkt nauwkeurig.
  • Je kan oplossingsgericht denken
  • Je kan planlezen.
  • Je leert graag over nieuwe technieken en installaties via onze interne opleidingen.
  • Je hebt een goede (mondelinge en schriftelijke) kennis van het Nederlands.

Waar ga je werken?

Je zal werken in de Tractiewerkplaats (TW) Antwerpen-Noord, Noorderlaan 630, 2030 Antwerpen of de Technische Onderhoudspost (TOP) Antwerpen Schijnpoort, Boerhaavestraat 100, 2060 Antwerpen.

Werkuren:

TW: dagdienst + weekends (05h45 tot 13h45 - 1 keer in de maand) TOP: dag en nachtdiensten
