Functieomschrijving: Als mechanisch monteur zorg jij dat alle machines in de fabriek goed blijven werken. Je lost storingen op en voert onderhoud uit aan het machinepark. Je gebruikt hiervoor technische tekeningen en duidelijke schema's. Alles wat je doet, schrijf je netjes op in het systeem.

Je haalt onderdelen uit elkaar en repareert deze waar nodig. Soms vervang je versleten onderdelen door nieuwe exemplaren. Je bouwt machines om en stelt ze opnieuw in voor de productie. Na het sleutelen test je de installaties uitgebreid. Ook help je operators als zij tegen technische problemen aanlopen. Zie je een kans om iets te verbeteren? Dan onderneem je meteen actie.

Je werkt nauw samen met je collega's op de werkvloer. Hierdoor is elke werkdag anders. Je bent als mechanisch monteur vaak overdag aan het werk. Daarnaast draai je soms mee in de storingsdienst.
