De functie inhoud Zo ziet het takenpakket eruit van een Mechanisch Ontwerper in Waregem:

  • Jouw core activiteit zal bestaan uit het ontwerpen en uittekenen van luchttechnische componenten in de procesindustrie.
  • De volledige technische uitwerking van de projecten wordt door jou gedaan: van kleinere stukken tot gehele metaalconstructies.
  • Je staat in voor productontwikkeling waarbij er een continue wisselwerking is met de technisch-commercieel verantwoordelijke en de productie.
  • Jouw kennis in Creo zal goed van pas komen.
  • De installaties worden volledig geproduceerd in de productiehal(len). Als designer kun je dus steeds jouw ontwerp volgen.

Onze klant Met een interessante en verregaande geschiedenis is deze organisatie uitgegroeid tot een belangrijke speler in industriële stofafzuiging en pneumatisch transport. Van het engineeren tot service achteraf: alle delen zitten in-house waarbij iedere installatie nog eens op maat gemaakt wordt. Daarnaast zijn ze actief in heel wat verschillende sectoren en bij uiteenlopende klanten.

Om even de omgeving en de cultuur wat in de verf te zetten: de site bestaat uit twee productiehallen in een rustige omgeving met een goede bereikbaarheid. Daarnaast is het een open cultuur waar er de werknemer centraal staat en er geregeld afterworks geregeld worden. Als Mechanical Engineer wordt dit verwacht:

  • Jouw kennen en kunnen heb je geleerd tijdens jouw technische bachelor- of masteropleiding (Elektromechanica, Mechanische vormgevingstechnieken etc.).
  • Ervaring in het ontwerpen van metaalconstructies is een plus. Daarnaast heb je de nodige materiaalkennis voor het uitvoeren van sterkteberekeningen.
  • Vervolgens kun je goed overweg met 3D-tekensoftware. Zoals hierboven beschreven werkt het bedrijf voornamelijk met Creo, maar kennis van Solidworks is ook zeker een troef.
  • Je beheerst voor de job naast het Nederlands ook het Engels.
  • Zelfstandigheid en initiatief nemen zijn jouw beste eigenschappen. Ten slotte werk je ook heel gestructureerd en heb je oog voor detail.
