Voor onze klant, regio Tielt, zoeken wij een Mechanisch Ontwerper met een passie voor technische uitdaging. Het bedrijf is een sterk groeiende machinebouwer die bekendstaat voor het ontwikkelen van totaaloplossingen voor de procesindustrie. De machines worden hoofdzakelijk vervaardigd uit roestvrij staal – een stevige troef die de eindklant duidelijk weet te waarderen. Hoewel het team eerder kleinschalig blijft (ongeveer 50 medewerkers), leveren ze projecten op in binnen- en buitenland. Door een structurele uitbreiding van het team en een toestroom aan projecten zoeken ze vandaag een extra Mechanical Design Engineer.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het mechanisch uittekenen en ontwerpen van nieuwe installaties
  • Deze technische plannen vormen de basis waarmee het productieteam aan de slag gaat bij het samenstellen van de machines
  • Je volgt het ontwerptraject ook op tijdens de productie, zodat je snel kunt schakelen wanneer er aanpassingen nodig zijn
  • In nauwe samenwerking met je collega Mechanical Engineers streef je naar doordachte en efficiënte ontwerpen
  • Je denkt actief mee en werkt gericht aan voorstellen om het ontwerp verder te optimaliseren
  • Je bent in het bezit van een Bachelors/Masterdiploma Elektromechanica of Ontwerp- en Productietechnologie
  • Enkele jaren ervaring binnen mechanisch ontwerp, bij een machinebouwer, is een must
  • Binnen de organisatie wordt er getekend met Creo, dus affiniteit hiermee is een sterke plus. Kennis van een ander 3D tekenpakket wordt als gelijkwaardig beschouwd
