As a Mechatronics Technician, you do more than standard assembly work. You build, assemble, test and adjust complex technical modules and systems. Mechanics, electronics and mechatronics come together in your daily work. You do not need years of experience in the high-tech industry. A solid technical background and the motivation to understand complex technology are more important. This means the role can also be a great next step if you currently work as a Technical Mechanic, Assembly Technician, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Automotive Technician or Technician. You will work in an international technical environment in the Eindhoven region, where precision, quality and structured working methods are important. What does a typical working day look like? You start your shift with your team and review the technical work planned for the day. Using technical drawings and work instructions, you begin assembling, installing or adjusting a technical module. You work with mechanical, electrical and mechatronic components. Some tasks involve larger components, while others require very precise, fine mechanical work. Once the assembly is complete, you check and test the system. Is a measurement outside the required specification or is a component not working as expected? You investigate the cause. You use your technical knowledge to analyse the problem and find the right solution, independently or together with your colleagues. Afterwards, you record the work performed and the test results.
