The posting

Over Samen op Dreef & Hof Ter Dreef

Hof Ter Dreef is een kleinschalige agro-ecologische bioboerderij in Meise. Al negen seizoenen telen we gezond, lokaal voedsel voor de regio. Vandaag werken we op 3 hectare met groenten, fruit, hoogstambomen en kippen.

We maken deel uit van Samen op Dreef, een coöperatie met vijf landbouwcollega’s en 80 particuliere coöperanten. Samen bouwen we aan een lokaal en duurzaam voedselsysteem. Onze producten vinden hun weg naar klanten via groentepakketten, de hoevewinkel, de Plantentuin van Meise en de wekelijkse markt op Tour & Taxis.

‍ Wat ga je doen?

Als mede-teeltverantwoordelijke volg je samen met het team de teelten op en begeleid je het veldteam van 2 tot 4 medewerkers.

Je staat in voor:

  • het teeltplan en de zaai-, plant- en oogstplanning;
  • de wekelijkse werkplanning;
  • het aansturen en opleiden van medewerkers;
  • het bewaken van kwaliteit, timing en materiaalgebruik;
  • het overzicht over de verschillende teelten;
  • en natuurlijk: zelf mee het veld op gaan.

Je combineert teeltkennis, organisatie, verantwoordelijkheid en praktisch werk.

‍ Wie zoeken we?

Voor deze functie is enkele jaren praktische ervaring belangrijk.

Misschien ben je vandaag al zelfstandig boer(in) en spreekt het je aan om je ervaring verder in te zetten, maar met meer regelmaat, een vast loon en de zekerheid van een tewerkstelling. Je wilt graag samenwerken en deel uitmaken van een coöperatieve structuur.

Daarnaast:

  • heb je een sterke interesse in biologische landbouw en de korte keten;
  • ken je de belangrijkste principes en technieken van groenteteelt en fruitteelt;
  • kan je goed plannen en organiseren;
  • behoud je gemakkelijk het overzicht;
  • ben je besluitvaardig en neem je verantwoordelijkheid;
  • kan je mensen op een duidelijke en positieve manier aansturen;
  • vind je het leuk om mensen op te leiden;
  • ben je kwaliteitsgericht en hou je van orde en netheid;
  • ben je praktisch en technisch aangelegd;
  • werk je vlot met een computer;
  • ben je zelfstandig én een teamplayer;
  • heb je een goede werkethiek;
  • beschik je over een rijbewijs B;
  • je spreekt Nederlands of Frans.

Je bent bovendien flexibel en begrijpt dat het ritme van een landbouwbedrijf mee bepaald wordt door seizoenen, weersomstandigheden en oogsten.
