The posting

Binnen de multidisciplinaire afdeling Business Development Non-Life zijn wij op zoek naar een Actuarieel Medewerker Business Risk Niet-Leven.

Jouw uitdagingen

  • Je neemt deel aan de periodieke BGAAP- en IFRS-rapporteringen.
  • Je analyseert de resultaten en eventuele afwijkingen ten opzichte van de verwachtingen van het Plan en stelt technische rapporten op voor het management.
  • Je ontwikkelt, indien nodig, nieuwe tools om de resultaten beter te interpreteren zodat deze gevalideerd en toegelicht kunnen worden.
  • Je neemt deel aan de jaarlijkse kalibratie van het projectiemodel voor de Niet-Leven cashflows en brengt je Business-kennis in om expert judgments te onderbouwen.
  • Je analyseert meer specifiek de impact van de kalibratie op het IFRS-resultaat.
  • Je neemt deel aan het kwantitatieve luik van het budgetteringsproces door macro-economische hypothesen en businesshypothesen te vertalen naar verwachte resultaten over de planhorizon.
  • Je analyseert de evolutie van de reserves in schadedossiers en ondersteunt de Claims-afdeling door impact analyses uit te voeren met betrekking tot de evolutie van hun business rules en/of de inflatie.
  • Je onderhoudt regelmatig contact met collega's van Pricing en Inforce, Corporate Financial Risk Management, de Actuariële Functie, Financial P&A, enz.

Wat je meebrengt

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in de actuariële wetenschappen en/of een sterke kwantitatieve achtergrond.
  • Je hebt 3 tot 6 jaar ervaring binnen de Niet-Levensverzekering, kennis van de boekhoudkundige implicaties ervan en ervaring met actuariële berekeningen en modellen. Ervaring met IFRS 17 is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je beschikt over goede programmeervaardigheden, bij voorkeur met kennis van SAS en R/Python.
  • Je hebt een sterk analytisch denkvermogen en werkt graag met cijfers.
  • Je werkt graag in teamverband, maar bent tegelijk zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en proactief.
  • Je communiceert helder en kunt je ideeën goed formuleren en documenteren.
  • Je bent bereid je kennis van het businessdomein en de impact ervan op de boekhouding verder uit te diepen.
  • Je bent flexibel tijdens piekperiodes en kunt aan meerdere doelstellingen tegelijk werken.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Frans en/of Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van de tweede landstaal.
