The posting

Het team centrale sterilisatie van ons ziekenhuis bestaat uit ongeveer 25 medewerkers.

Er is een afdeling waar het chirurgisch instrumentarium voor alle disciplines wordt gereinigd, gedesinfecteerd en gesteriliseerd en er is een afdeling waar de flexibele endoscopen worden gereinigd en gedesinfecteerd.

Op beide afdelingen worden de instrumenten eerst manueel voorgereinigd. Hieronder valt o.a. functionaliteit van de instrumenten controleren en demonteren van de instrumenten in functie van optimale reiniging. Na de manuele reiniging volgt de machinale reiniging en desinfectie alvorens de instrumenten terug te monteren, smeren, functionaliteit controleren, inpakken… De chirurgische instrumenten moeten vervolgens nog gesteriliseerd worden. Om deze processen tot een goed einde te brengen wordt er gewerkt met moderne machines en volgens vastgelegde procedures. Naast bovenstaande sta je o.a. ook mee in voor de kwaliteitscontrole van de verschillende processen en de uitbouw van een instrumentenopvolgsysteem.

Wat zijn jouw taken?

- Je ontvangt en sorteert het medisch materiaal en hulpmiddelen, je demonteert het, doet een voorreiniging, reinigt, desinfecteert en steriliseert machinaal of handmatig - Je monteert het materiaal en stelt de instrumentensets terug samen - Je controleert of het materiaal nog functioneel is, je verpakt het materiaal steriel en na controle geef je materiaal terug vrij - Je staat in voor de registratie van de essentiële stappen in het proces in het daarvoor voorziene pakket - Je staat in voor het materiaalbeheer door het signaleren van mogelijke tekorten, ontvangen en controleren van leveringen, uitvoeren van het onderhoud van de toestellen, …

- Je beschikt over een diploma middelbaar onderwijs , of een diploma als zorgkundige of verpleegkundige - Je bent bereid om je bij te scholen in sterilisatieprocessen - Je hebt interesse in techniek en in werking van chirurgische instrumenten - Je beschikt over een goede fysieke conditie gezien de fysiek zware job - Zorgvuldigheid en nauwkeurigheid in jouw job zijn voor jou een evidentie - Je bent communicatief sterk en beschikt over een stevige portie stressbestendigheid - Een probleemsituatie brengt je niet van de wijs, je tracht het op te lossen en gaat verder aan de slag
