Op dit moment zijn wij op zoek naar een Medewerker Centrale Sterilisatie.

Wat houdt de functie in?

Onze afdeling Centrale Sterilisatie is verantwoordelijk voor de reiniging, desinfectie- én sterilisatieprocessen van medische hulpmiddelen. We doen dit volgens strikt wettelijke bepalingen.

Als medewerker word je ingezet op onze Centrale Sterilisatie Afdeling (CSA) en Centrale Desinfectie Afdeling (CDA) te campus Wetteren, Geraardsbergen of Merestraat (Aalst). Eén van deze campussen wordt je hoofdcampus, maar soms werk je vanop een andere werklocatie.

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een correcte registratie in ons traceersysteem.
  • Je bedient de apparatuur voor decontaminatie, desinfectie en sterilisatie van medische hulpmiddelen
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het steriliseren en het assembleren van setten.
  • Je voert elke stap tot sterilisatie van een instrument zeer nauwkeurig uit.
  • Je doet tal van controles op de medische hulpmiddelen vooraleer ze steriel bij ons vertrekken.

  • Je bent in het bezit van een diploma secundair onderwijs.
  • Of je bent in het bezit van een diploma en visum van zorgkundige/verpleegkundige
  • Je beschikt over een attest basistechnieken centrale sterilisatie of bent bereid dit te behalen.
  • Zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband functioneer jij optimaal, je bent technisch aangelegd, flexibel en communicatief.
  • Verantwoordelijkheid nemen en kwaliteit afleveren draag jij hoog in het vaandel.
  • Je bent bereid om in een ploegensysteem te werken, nachtdiensten te verrichten en in te stappen in een wachtsysteem.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en bent bereid je af en toe te verplaatsen naar andere campi.
