In de Huiskamer van Amethist zit je werk vaak in kleine stappen. Je werkt met mensen bij wie verslaving al lange tijd onderdeel kan zijn van het leven. Sommigen zijn dak- of thuisloos en naast middelengebruik kunnen psychische, lichamelijke en sociale problemen spelen. Niet iedereen komt binnen met een duidelijke hulpvraag. Soms moet die vraag eerst ontstaan. Als medewerker cliëntenactiviteiten maak je contact, luister je en kijk je wat iemand op dat moment nodig heeft. Je stimuleert cliënten om mee te doen, beter voor zichzelf te zorgen en waar mogelijk stappen te zetten richting hulpverlening, herstel of maatschappelijke deelname. Daarbij ben je betrokken én duidelijk. Je weet dat middelengebruik niet van vandaag op morgen stopt en kunt werken vanuit harm reduction: ook wanneer stoppen niet haalbaar is, kijk je hoe risico's en schade kunnen worden beperkt. Zo werk jij Je werkt in de Huiskamer en inloopvoorziening en bent daar een vertrouwd aanspreekpunt voor cliënten. Je organiseert sociale activiteiten, biedt praktische ondersteuning en houdt samen met collega's zicht op wat er in en rond de Huiskamer gebeurt. Je: - ontvangt cliënten en maakt actief contact, ook met mensen die niet vanzelf om hulp vragen; - organiseert en begeleidt sociale en praktische activiteiten die structuur, contact en zelfredzaamheid ondersteunen; - motiveert cliënten tot zelfzorg, activiteiten en waar passend verdere hulp of herstelprogramma's; - biedt gezonde en gevarieerde maaltijden aan en houdt daarbij rekening met voedselveiligheid; - signaleert veranderingen of problemen vroeg en bespreekt deze met collega's; - helpt cliënten hun hulpvraag duidelijker te kr...
