Een patiënt belt op met een ingewikkelde vraag over een ziekenhuisrekening. Je duikt meteen het systeem in: hoe zit deze declaratie precies in elkaar, wat is er gedeclareerd en klopt de zorgcode? Vervolgens leg je rustig en duidelijk uit hoe het bedrag is opgebouwd. Dankzij jouw uitleg én luisterend oor voelt de patiënt zich gehoord, serieus genomen en goed geholpen. Als medewerker front-office en facturatie ben jij het aanspreekpunt voor patiënten aan de balie en telefoon, terwijl je achter de schermen zorgt dat het administratieve facturatieproces van het ETZ klopt. Een afwisselende combinatie van echt menselijk contact en nauwkeurig cijferwerk. Jouw werkzaamheden op een rij: - Je staat patiënten en collega's via de telefoon en aan de balie vriendelijk te woord; je luistert goed en achterhaalt de vraag achter hun vraag. - Je voert actief het onverzekerdenbeleid uit: heeft een patiënt geen Nederlandse zorgverzekering? Dan neem jij het initiatief om het gesprek aan te gaan, maak je duidelijke afspraken en zet je de benodigde acties uit om tot betaling van de zorg te komen. - Je declareert zelfstandig zorgproducten bij patiënten en zorgverzekeraars; bij afwijzingen op declaraties controleer je de registratie en zorg je voor een goede afhandeling - Je controleert facturatiegegevens, signaleert afwijkingen en zoekt uit waar het probleem zit om het op te lossen. - Je werkt dagelijks met verschillende administratieve zorgsystemen en maakt nieuwe toepassingen snel eigen. - Je werkt nauw samen met collega's van Finance, Control & Informatie en denkt mee over het slimmer inrichten van de werkprocessen.
