De functie is in 2-ploegendienst (middagdienst van 14:00 tot 22:00). Als Medewerker Keuringen B ben je verantwoordelijk voor het instellen en bedienen van apparatuur voor het vervaardigen van monsters en het uitvoeren van proeven volgens vastgestelde protocollen en instructies. Het doel van de functie is het leveren van betrouwbare monsters en meetgegevens die inzicht geven in de mechanische eigenschappen en specificaties van staalproducten, ten behoeve van productafname door klanten en interne onderzoeksdoeleinden. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het leveren van monsters en meetgegevens die inzicht geven in de productspecificaties (zoals dichtheid, trekkracht, etc.). Taken: - Bewerken van proefmateriaal tot monsters. - Beoordelen van binnengekomen materialen op afmetingen, compleetheid en hoedanigheid; controleren van de codering. - Kiezen van de juiste bewerkingsmiddelen en -methoden, op maat maken van proefmateriaal en vervaardigen van monsters. - Beoordelen van de bruikbaarheid en kwaliteit van monsters. - Je voert bewerkingen veilig en nauwkeurig uit. - Je prepareert monsters en stelt proefapparatuur in volgens protocollen en instructies, zodanig dat nauwkeurigheid en veiligheid worden gewaarborgd. - Je signaleert verstoringen en afwijkingen tijdens de proef en lost deze op. - Je beoordeelt de betrouwbaarheid van het proefproces en bepaalt of herhaling van de proef noodzakelijk is. - Je valideert en interpreteert meetresultaten. - Je beoordeelt de geldigheid van meetgegevens en controleert of deze binnen de specificaties en toleranties van de klant vallen. - Je signaleert en meldt afwijkingen of bijzonderheden rond de proeven aan de werkeenheid. - Je registreert meetgegevens en maakt deze inzichtelijk voor de werkeenheid.
