Mensen denken bij milieu vaak aan rapporten en analyses. Jij staat veel dichter bij de praktijk. Op industriële sites, productiebedrijven en technische installaties voer je metingen uit die bedrijven helpen om hun uitstoot en luchtkwaliteit op te volgen volgens de geldende milieuwetgeving.

Voor een gespecialiseerde en groeiende organisatie zoeken we een technisch medewerker luchtmetingen. Een uitdagende functie voor iemand die wetenschap graag combineert met praktijkwerk op het terrein.

Na een grondige opleiding trek je dagelijks vanuit Wevelgem naar klanten verspreid over België.

Daar voer je lucht- en emissiemetingen uit met gespecialiseerde apparatuur. Je bouwt meetopstellingen op, voert controles uit en waakt over de betrouwbaarheid van de meetresultaten.

Jouw takenpakket omvat:

  • Uitvoeren van lucht- en emissiemetingen op industriële locaties
  • Opbouwen en afregelen van meetinstallaties
  • Werken met gespecialiseerde meet- en analyseapparatuur
  • Kalibreren en controleren van meettoestellen
  • Registreren en verwerken van meetgegevens
  • Bewaken van de kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid van de metingen
  • Samenwerken met collega's bij grotere projecten
  • Actief bijdragen aan de verdere uitbouw van de afdeling luchtmetingen

Deze functie speelt zich voornamelijk buiten af. Regelmatig werk je op industriële installaties of meetplatformen op hoogte.

Meestal een job in dagwerk, maar een aantal keer per jaar vroeger starten (rond 4u). Flexibiliteit is hier belangrijk.

Daarnaast kan de job fysiek wat lastiger zijn.

Je bent nieuwsgierig, technisch ingesteld en werkt graag in een omgeving waar geen enkele dag hetzelfde is.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • Een bachelor in Chemie, Milieutechnologie, Biochemie, Procestechnologie of een andere wetenschappelijke richtingOf relevante ervaring binnen luchtmetingen, milieu of industriële metingen
  • Analytisch inzicht en zin voor nauwkeurigheid
  • Interesse in milieu, emissies en meettechnieken
  • Een praktische hands-on ingesteldheid

  • Geen hoogtevrees
  • Uitstekende Nederlandse kennis, kennis van het Frans is mooi meegenomen.
