Graag zelfstandig op de baan, technisch ingesteld en niet bang om eens op een minder evidente plek te moeten kijken? Als medewerker pest control bezoek je professionele klanten om problemen met plaagdieren te voorkomen, te controleren en gericht aan te pakken. Ervaring is niet nodig. Je krijgt een uitgebreide opleiding om het vak te leren.

Wat ga je doen?

Je werkt voor een gespecialiseerde dienstverlener in professionele plaagdierbeheersing en preventie. Je klanten zijn heel uiteenlopend, van horeca en bedrijven tot scholen en zorginstellingen.

Je vertrekt iedere ochtend rechtstreeks van thuis naar je klanten in de regio.

• Je voert inspecties uit bij klanten

• Je controleert ruimtes op mogelijke aanwezigheid of risico's van plaagdieren

• Je plaatst en controleert preventieve middelen en lokazen

• Je bepaalt welke acties nodig zijn om een probleem correct aan te pakken

• Je registreert je controles en bevindingen in een digitaal systeem

• Je geeft na ieder bezoek duidelijke feedback aan de klant

• Je adviseert klanten over preventieve maatregelen

• Je volgt bestaande problemen verder op tot ze onder controle zijn

• Je plant en organiseert je opdrachten zelfstandig

De ene dag controleer je een probleem met fruitvliegen, de volgende dag onderzoek je een mogelijke aanwezigheid van kakkerlakken. Veel variatie dus, maar ook een job waarin je zelfstandig moet kunnen werken en soms in kleine ruimtes of op hoogte terechtkomt.

• Je beschikt over een rijbewijs

• Je bent technisch ingesteld en leert graag bij

• Je kunt zelfstandig werken en verantwoordelijkheid nemen

• Je communiceert vlot en professioneel in het Frans

• Je kunt je ook schriftelijk goed uitdrukken in het Frans

• Je bent oplossingsgericht en organiseert je opdrachten goed

• Werken op hoogte of in kleinere ruimtes vormt voor jou geen probleem

Ervaring in plaagdierbeheersing is niet nodig. De opleiding krijg je. Technisch inzicht, zelfstandigheid en goed kunnen omgaan met klanten wegen hier zwaarder.
