Medewerker Planten & Zaden – Kinrooi – Voltijdse functie

Ben jij gepassioneerd door planten en werk je graag met je handen? Voor een dynamisch en groeiend veredelingsbedrijf in Limburg zijn we op zoek naar jou als betrokken medewerker. In deze rol ga je aan de slag in de serres, op het proefveld en af en toe in het labo. Je draagt bij aan de productie en selectie van hoogwaardig zaaizaad, zoals erwten, bonen, soja en prei.

  • Heb je ervaring met werken in de tuinbouw of met planten?
  • Ben je bereid om seizoensgebonden werkzaamheden in de serre en op het veld uit te voeren?
  • Ben je gemotiveerd en heb je een praktische instelling?

In deze rol heb je verschillende verantwoordelijkheden, waaronder:

  • Ondersteunen van veredelaars bij dagelijkse werkzaamheden in de serre en op het proefveld.
  • Voorbereiden en vullen van potten, tellen van zaadjes, zaaien en uitdelen van planten.
  • Verzorgen van gewassen: water geven, verplanten en algemene gewasverzorging.
  • Meewerken tijdens oogstperiodes en bewerken/verpakken van zaad waar nodig.
  • Assisteren bij eenvoudige kruisingen en kleinschalige proefopstellingen.
  • Bijhouden van eenvoudige gegevens en notities van proeven.
  • Tijdens drukke periodes een extra inspanning leveren om deadlines te halen.

Voor deze functie is het belangrijk dat je een goede motivatie hebt en beschikt over een praktische instelling. Een diploma secundair onderwijs is voldoende. Een opleiding in een groene richting, zoals tuinbouw, plantenteelt of landbouw, is een plus maar geen vereiste. Ervaring is niet noodzakelijk; motivatie en nauwkeurigheid zijn belangrijker.

  • Fysiek in staat om seizoensgebonden werkzaamheden in de serre en op het veld uit te voeren.
  • Je hebt zin voor teamwork, bent leergierig en hebt een positieve werkhouding.
  • Je bent bereid om tijdens piekperiodes (zaai- en oogstseizoen) flexibel inzetbaar te zijn.
