Verlies jij jouw prioriteiten niet snel uit het oog? Ook niet in de hectiek van alledag? Dan is de vacature medewerker preoperatieve screening vast iets voor jou. De functie Als medewerker preoperatieve screening ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderzoek van de patiënt voordat hij of zij voor een ingreep naar de OK gaat. Tijdens een consult met de patiënt breng je de situatie en gezondheid in kaart. Deze informatie heb je nodig om een zo goed mogelijk advies te geven over het type verdoving en pijnbestrijding voor, tijdens en na de operatie. Naast letten op de medische kant, heb je natuurlijk ook veel aandacht voor de psychosociale kant en anticipeer je daarop. Want jij begrijpt als geen ander dat een operatie soms nodig is om beter te worden, maar dat diezelfde operatie ook altijd heel spannend is. Jouw afdeling De preoperatieve screening is belangrijk in ons ziekenhuis! Het is dan ook niet voor niets dat hier dag in, dag uit wordt gewerkt aan verdere ontwikkeling van de preoperatieve screening. Hierin staat het zorgproces van de patiënt centraal, van de voorbereiding op een operatieve ingreep tot het traject van nazorg. Ons team heeft één doel: persoonlijke zorg van hoge kwaliteit voor iedere patiënt. Goed om te weten Je werkt samen met een hecht team van collega intakeverpleegkundigen, planners en apothekersassistenten onder supervisie van de anesthesioloog. Wat goed is om te weten is dat je aan de slag gaat in onze beide ziekenhuislocaties: Franciscus Gasthuis in Rotterdam en Franciscus Vlietland in Schiedam.
