The posting

Als medewerker restauratieve voorzieningen kom je terecht in het 7-koppige team van de cafetaria.

In deze functie rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan Nathalie De Bock - Verantwoordelijke cafetaria en werk je nauw samen met onze cafetariamedewerkers.

Een greep uit je takenpakket:

  • Je zorgt voor de voorbereidingen in de cafetaria: je zet alle componenten klaar voor het beleggen van broodjes, je zet koffie, … ;
  • Je zorgt voor het beleggen van broodjes en voor een klantvriendelijke bediening ;
  • Je onthaalt klanten aan de toonbank, neemt bestellingen en registreert deze in de kassa
  • Verder zorg je voor het klaarzetten en de aanvulling van divers materieel (dienbladen, borden, bestekken, glazen, …) ;
  • Je zorgt voor de reiniging en het onderhoud van de klantenruimte van de cafetaria ;
  • Je zorgt periodiek voor reiniging en onderhoud van keuken- en cafetaria-installaties (dampkapppen, koelcellen, ...), productieruimtes en andere lokalen;
  • Tot slot sta je ook in voor het afsluiten van de bedieningstoog en het reinigen van de koffiemachines.

Voor deze functie zal Brussels Humanities, Sciences & Engineering Campus (Elsene) je thuisbasis worden.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • We zoeken iemand met een diploma lager secundair onderwijs of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. Bij voorkeur heb je al enkele jaren ervaring in bv. een broodjeszaak en weet je als geen ander hoe belangrijk hygiëne is. Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en past je boodschap gemakkelijk aan afhankelijk van je doelpubliek. Beheersing van het Engels is een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt een verzorgd uiterlijk en zeer goede persoonlijke hygiëne. Klantvriendelijkheid, stiptheid en flexibiliteit zijn essentiële begrippen voor jou.
  • Je bent in staat om je aan te passen aan wijzigende omstandigheden of ten opzichte van verschillende personen en je kan tegen een stootje wanneer het eens wat drukker of moeilijker wordt.
  • Als (niet-) EER onderdaan voldoen aan de voorwaarden voor het verkrijgen van een rechtsgeldige vergunning voor VUB en voldoen aan de VUB verblijfsvoorwaarden. Lees hier meer.
