Samen met je collega's zorg je ervoor dat onze openbare ruimte netjes, veilig en goed onderhouden blijft. Wat ga je doen? Je bent allround inzetbaar. De ene dag ben je bezig met straatwerk of het onderhouden van wegen, straatmeubilair en speeltoestellen. Een andere dag werk je bijvoorbeeld in het groen, op het strand, op sportvelden of begraafplaatsen. Ook werkzaamheden aan de riolering kunnen bij je werk horen. En je werkgebied? Dat is behoorlijk afwisselend. Van de stad Schagen en onze dorpen tot het agrarisch gebied en de kust. Je werkt dus veel buiten en komt op allerlei plekken binnen de gemeente. Ook bij calamiteiten staat het serviceteam klaar. Daarom draaien we piketdiensten en zijn we 24 uur per dag oproepbaar. Een rijbewijs C1E en/of VCA-certificaat is daarbij mooi meegenomen. We werken met diverse machines, tractoren en shovels (groot en klein), waar je ook het dagelijks onderhoud aan doet. Het zou superhandig zijn als jij hier al mee kunt omgaan. Tijdens je werk heb je regelmatig contact met inwoners. Jij bent op dat moment het gezicht van de gemeente. Je beantwoordt vragen, denkt mee en legt uit wat je aan het doen bent. Waar nodig schakel je met collega's binnen de gemeente of met aannemers. Wat breng je mee? We zoeken vooral iemand die graag buiten werkt en van aanpakken weet. Je vindt het leuk om verschillende werkzaamheden uit te voeren en hebt interesse in het onderhouden van de openbare ruimte. Heb je al ervaring bij een gemeente of in een vergelijkbare functie? Mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen vereiste. We kijken vooral naar wat jij kunt, hoe je werkt en of je binnen het team past.
