Medewerker Wonen en Welzijn - Jouw werkzaamheden - Wat wij zoeken - Wat wij bieden Wat jij gaat doen Als Medewerker Wonen & Welzijn bij Binnenhaven ben je dichtbij de bewoners en maak je onderdeel uit van hun dagelijks leven. Je werkt kleinschalig met bewoners met een psychogeriatrische zorgvraag (PG). Daardoor leer je bewoners goed kennen en weet je steeds beter wat iemand nodig heeft om zich veilig, vertrouwd en thuis te voelen. Je ondersteunt bewoners bij de algemene dagelijkse levensverrichtingen, ook wel ADL genoemd. Denk aan helpen bij het wassen, aankleden, naar het toilet gaan en andere momenten van persoonlijke verzorging. Daarbij kijk je altijd naar wat iemand zelf nog kan en stimuleer je bewoners om zoveel mogelijk de eigen regie te behouden. Daarnaast ondersteun je rondom maaltijden, help je bij huishoudelijke werkzaamheden en draag je bij aan een fijne en huiselijke sfeer. Soms betekent dat samen koffie drinken of iets ondernemen, op een ander moment heeft een bewoner juist behoefte aan rust, structuur of extra nabijheid. Werken met bewoners met een PG-zorgvraag vraagt geduld, aandacht en inlevingsvermogen. Onbegrepen gedrag kan onderdeel zijn van het dagelijks werk. Daarom is het belangrijk dat je hier affiniteit mee hebt, rustig kunt blijven en probeert te begrijpen waar bepaald gedrag vandaan komt. Je observeert goed, sluit aan bij wat een bewoner op dat moment nodig heeft en bespreekt veranderingen met je collega's. Je gaat aan de slag bij Binnenhaven in Nieuw- en Sint Joosland. Hier werken we kleinschalig en is er veel ruimte voor persoonlijk contact. Samen met collega's uit zorg, wonen en welzijn zorg je voor passende ondersteuning en een zo prettig mogelijke dag voor de bewoners. We zoeken iemand die oprecht geïnteresseerd is in ouderen, stevig in zijn of haar schoenen staat en verantwoordelijkheid durft te nemen.
