Want Rivas Zorggroep biedt jou de kans om in Molenlanden zorg bij mensen thuis te verlenen, ook als je geen (zorg)diploma hebt. Jij krijgt van ons gratis een korte opleiding, waarin je van alles leert over het omgaan met en zorgen voor ouderen. Daarna ga jij aan de slag als medewerker zorg & welzijn! Wat ga je doen? Een VPT-team (Volledig Pakket Thuis) bestaat uit zorgverleners die samen verpleeghuiszorg bieden aan ouderen, gewoon bij hen thuis. Als medewerker zorg & welzijn speel jij daarin een belangrijke rol. Je hebt veel persoonlijk contact met cliënten en zorgt niet alleen voor een fijne, schone en veilige leefomgeving, maar ook voor warme, gezellige momenten. Je helpt bijvoorbeeld met het bereiden van een maaltijd, draait een wasje terwijl je schoonmaakt, of gaat samen even naar de markt. Je maakt tijd voor een spelletje of leest samen de krant - momenten die voor onze cliënten van grote waarde zijn. Daarnaast houd je goed in de gaten wat iemand nog zelf kan of waarbij hulp nodig is. Je luistert aandachtig en signaleert veranderingen, zoals vergeetachtigheid of lichamelijke klachten. Wat je opvalt, leg je vast in het cliëntdossier en bespreek je met je collega's. Heb je tijdens je werk een vraag? Dan kun je altijd sparren met een gediplomeerde collega uit het team. Wil je doorgroeien? Dat kan! In een latere fase kun je bijvoorbeeld ook ondersteunen bij het wassen, aankleden of helpen bij het in en uit bed komen. Soms assisteer je bij het aantrekken van steunkousen.
