Voor het Regionaal Distributiecentrum en de Voedselbank Tilburg zoeken wij een enthousiaste en betrokken Medewerker Magazijn. Ben jij handig en praktisch en steek je graag de handen uit de mouwen? Weet je goed overzicht te houden? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou! Over ons Het Regionaal Distributiecentrum (=RDC) is één van de tien landelijke distributiecentra van Voedselbank Nederland. Wij bedienen de regio Noord- Brabant en Zeeland. De voedingsmiddelen komen binnen bij het RDC waarna er dagelijks meerdere (vracht) wagens op weg zijn om ruim 30 voedselbanken in Noord-Brabant en Zeeland van voedsel te voorzien voor ruim 7500 gezinnen. De Voedselbank Tilburg ondersteunt wekelijks ruim 700 huishoudens die door uiteenlopende omstandigheden in financiële problemen zijn geraakt. Met een team van in totaal ongeveer 200 vrijwilligers zorgen we ervoor dat voedsel terechtkomt bij wie het hard nodig heeft en niet verspild wordt. Het Regionaal Distributiecentrum en de Tilburgse Voedselbank werken uitsluitend met onbetaalde vrijwilligers. Ook voor deze functie geldt dat er geen financiële vergoeding tegenover staat. Wat ga je doen? - Je lost de goederen uit de vrachtwagen en zorgt dat goederen die binnenkomen/uitgaan, veilig op de juiste plaats worden opgeslagen bijv. In de stelling, de koelcel of vriescel. - Je informeert direct de coördinator RDC dat goederen binnen zijn gekomen. - Je plaatste de pallets op de aangegeven locatie. - Je zet orders klaar voor verzending naar andere lokale voedselbanken. - Je ondersteunt de coördinator van het magazijn RDC bij het beheer van de voorraad. - Je werkt nauw samen met chauffeurs en het inboekteam. - Je werkt veilig met de machines en apparatuur en houdt de werkplek opgeruimd en schoon. ...
